
After more than two decades working inside some of the world's largest financial institutions (Citi, Lloyds Banking Group, Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, Macquarie Asset Management), I kept finding myself in the same room.
Different organisation.
Different decade.
Same conversation.
Smart people with real ambition, usually carrying a transformation programme that had been announced, restructured and re-announced. Yet somewhere between the boardroom and the delivery team, something had stopped moving.
It wasn't usually a strategy problem. It was an execution problem - made harder by regulatory pressure, fragmented ownership, and the kind of fatigue that builds when change is always 'almost happening'.
Nexis Worldwide was created to work in that gap.
The name comes from 'nexus' — the point where things meet. TradFi and DeFi. Governance and delivery. Bold ideas and the governance needed to make them safe to pursue.
